Seeing as the people most likely to fall for the scammers and pay up (because they are honest decent people, often vulnerable) I`D LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT BLUE BADGE RULES DO NOT APPLY ON PRIVATE LAND! So if you get a bogus parking charge for flaunting one of these regs it is just another RUSE to con you out of your hard earned. Just ignore all the letters you may get (up to a dozen) These scammers are risking about £4.00 in postage to trick you into coughing up £60 or £90 or £100. nice little earner ain`t it? Also under the Equality Act 2010 corporate bodies including retailers cannot discriminate against disabled people and have a duty of care to facilitate their access to their properties so you can park in a disabled bay ON PRIVATE LAND even if you don`t have a Blue Badge but of course you should be genuinely disabled. :cool:
