    If they are gifts have you considered using nice glass jars with lids or (biscuit/cake) tins instead from somewhere like Wilkinsons or a supermarket, there are loads of shapes and sizes available these days at very reasonable prices and then then the recipient of the gift can reuse the container, whereas a cardboard box will generally not be as useful (or might just be thrown away/recycled).
    A waist is a terrible thing to mind.
