I have a SAGA account that gives me the average of the top 5 "High Street" accounts. At the moment I can do much better with other accounts.
Should I just close this, or is it worth leaving a small amount in to keep it open? They are not offering this any more, and it may look up in the future (4 years ago it offered very good rates)
Thanks in advance

It's never been a very good account.
The (similar) Investec High Five (also no longer open to new customers) was far better as it included high-paying Notice accounts in its comparison so that the average rate was (is) higher than Saga's.0 -
I'm going to start leaving £10 in old savings accounts. That way I won't have to verify my identity again if I want to open another account at that bank.0
