EDF Direct Debit review - watch out

I've just received my annual electricity direct debit review. Despite only having an outstanding balance of £5.50, they are saying they are going to increase my monthly direct debit from £42 to £100. I'm on the phone to them first thing tomorrow morning.

We've just had our gas and electric review, the payments were only increased by a few pounds, we called them and said what we thought we should pay, they accepted that and changed the direct debits.
