I've seen a few posts on here about who to use for insuring an imported motor.. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks i'd have picked up an imported WRX and was looking around the net for one.. One site that came up on a google search was http://www.japaneseimports.co.uk who have a section for insurance companies to try..

Also try the egg card offer. I just found that they cover imported Honda CRVs. Cut my premium in half.koru0

I used to have a Mitsubishi FTO, which is a grey import (even harder to insure as there is no UK equivalent). Priviledge was the cheapest & was no hassle to set up. Tesco gave me a reasonable quote but insisted on a tracker being fitted to the car before they would insure it.0
