Thanks but this site is based on UK law, tax, shops etc I want one to tell me which phone company in France to go with, which bank has the best interest rates, what to do about home insurance etc ect. The ex-pat sites are ok but don't go far enough. If it aint broke don't fix it!

This is a very useful site with a lot of information in all the areas you will need. There is also a very good forum:

I used it before I moved to France and while I was there. It is not an MSE-type site but I found it had everything I needed.0
