10 year old boiler repairs worth doing or replace boiler?

We have a Baxi Combi Instant 105e which reached 10 years old in September, last night we had the SWALEC engineer out to do a check & service to put us on contract for boiler cover (my mum previously owned the house so I know all the boilers history and have all the service docs up to this point).
I'm actually kicking myself as the boiler had been on cover with British Gas however mum died and while we were sorting the estate etc we overlooked sorting out the cover and when I bought the house and moved in I wanted to change to SWALEC and just didnt even think to see if we could have taken over the BG contract - anyway we didn't so now we're stuck with the consequences.
The engineer said there are a number of things wrong with the boiler, the main and most expensive one being that the expansion tank needs replacing - he has suggested that we get an external one fitted, there was also a water leak inside and some corrosion so a circuit board needs replacing & something else, hes hoping he can just change a part rather than replacing the whole unit but couldn't get through to the spares dept yesterday to see if they can just get the single bit rather than the whole thing.
Additionally theres an issue with the flue, apparently ours has a filter fitted, but the boiler is inside a cupboard and vents into the attic so it shouldn't have a filter as theres more than 1 90 degree bend in the flue? The flue itself is also a bit rickitty and needs bracketing.
I haven't had a formal full estimate from them yet - they were supposed to ring me this morning but haven't yet, but I've been told we're looking at around £560 plus or minus depending upon whether we have to have that whole unit or not.
I asked the guy if the boiler was even worth replacing at that price and he said he thought it was as it was a good boiler and once those parts were fixed we'd be on contract so if it did ever break down it would all be free to fix.
I had been under the impression the boiler was only 5 years old so we'd pretty much decided to have it fixed but having found out this morning that it is actually 10 years old I'm now not at all sure what to do.
How much is a new boiler compared to fixing this one?
