in Credit cards
Hi
We are returning to the UK after 5 years in Australia. Just wondered if anyone had any hints on how to build up our credit history quickly.
We maintained a UK bank account which we have used to facilitate direct debits and standing orders, transferring cash regularly. Our credit history was good when we left.
I am just thinking about purchasing a car without using our savings, how long would it take for the bank to be happy to lend us money?
Thanks

because savings attract such low interest and car loans can be costly i`d pay cash for the car, negotiating a good deal along the way0
