Please help me to choose a fixed rate GAS+ELECTRICITY company
Hi smart guys,
Could you please help me to choose a fixed rate GAS+ELECTRICITY company? Currently, we are using Southern Electric but the monthly bill for GAS+ELECTRICITY is around £68. We are a couple and we are full-time working and not at home during the day time.
1. Should I choose the fixed rate scheme? They said the energy price will go up but it may be just a marketing strategy.
2. If fixed rate is a good choice. Then is there any good recommendation? Some ones with cashback would be really nice.
Thanks a lot :T
Aaronne.

In a world without fences and walls, why bother 'GATES' and 'WINDOWS'?

We can't choose for you, because the best deal depends on region and consumption. Put your annual kWh figures into any comp site and you will have the answer in seconds. Then use a cashback site to witch.
It's not a marketing strategy. All the Big Six have already announced big increases, with the exception of Eon, who will doubtless raise theirs on 1/1/13.
I'm afraid you've long missed the boat on a cheap fix, all the good ones were canned a month or more back now.
Whether you fix or not will depend on whether you want to lock in at current prices or take a chance on them falling-no one knows. No free lunch, and no free laptop
