    As per my post #28...

I was paid £239.70 on the 20th November (normal fortnight payment schedule)

Then a payment of £239.70 on the 30th November.

And a payment of £249.70 today (normal fortnight payment)

Have they overpaid me on the 30th? I understand the additional £10 received today maybe the Christmas bonus, although I didn't think my I was entitled to this. Odd...

As they paid you up to the 6/11/12 previously. and the amount is exactly = to your std fortnightly pymt, ....we can only assume it is an over payment....are you sure the 3 pymts you mention are all into your account and stayed there?

Only way to find out is to call. Whilst it is not your responsibility to repay their errors if it is decided that you would have known something was suspicious about this pymt,,,i.e that it could be an error and did not report it for re-payment then you could be found to be liable for its repayment and could be commiting fraud by not reporting it.

According to my bank statement online its there. I haven't called anyone (bank, DWP) to verify otherwise.

I had a suspicion that I could have being owed a payment in lieu. Perhaps that's what it is.

I for one wouldn't want to commit fraud, not the type mate. I will keep an eye on my account, if further 'unexpected' payments appear, I would report it.

The £10 xmas bonus was being paid at some point this week. My dd got a letter with regards to it, her's should have been in by today. I didn't receive any letter, maybe I'm not getting it :)
