I'm a coward and ignored it! Not happy with last download which causes so many problems so would be interested to hear if you find it works. I may then download. Thanks :)

Aw gawd! That's double Dutch to me. I want it to stop shoving me out of the Internet mainly. Hate the way it spells for me using completely different words I don't want to use and another annoyance is when looking on eBay it gets smaller and smaller until you can't read anything! These three things are really annoying and probably a couple of others but I still love my iPad2! :D

    Glad it's not just me.

Hate the way it spells for me using completely different words I don't want to use

...but it gives you the option to reject the suggested replacement......

and another annoyance is when looking on eBay it gets smaller and smaller until you can't read anything!

Again, glad it's not just me. Would love to know if anyone has a solution for shrinking eBay......

These three things are really annoying and probably a couple of others but I still love my iPad2! :D

Still staying clear of the OS update as I like the maps too much.... Strange that the change log makes no mention of "we took the maps app away, and you'll have to use them in the browser now"

Seems to work OK, I understand you can turn the word/spelling correction off in the settings, not sure where as I find this facility useful as long as you check what's written before you send it:)
  • I'll stick to iOS 5.1.1 for now.. I love google maps.

If you have already updated to iOS 6 then there is no reason not to update to 6.0.1, it contains bug and security updates as per krisdoreys post.

If you are staying on iOS5 because you still want google maps then like the iOS6 update don't bother updating.

No mention of fixing IOS6 so that it works properly on 4th Gen devices like the Ipod Touch 4G. :(

(You know; things like App Store Search, which always crashes if more than 10-ish results are returned).

Unfortunately you'll be forced into iOS 6 if you have such things as iMovie and you want to update those apps.
