Egg PPI - how long?

I have had a long time egg credit card. Its still active as far as im aware, however i have not had any logon details or correspondance from EGG/Now BC for many years. In fact I suspect the address is a previous 2 addresses ago.
Card taken in late 90's early 2000. Am I still able to go ahead, assuming i can get the details of the account and pursue a refund. i remember at the time having no choice on the PPI if i wanted the card.

You can complain but problem is that your account may no longer be open and records long gone.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
