Paris week holiday with Disney very very confused??

Hi

I am so confused at the moment!

I want to go to Paris last week of May 26-31st 2013 (one adult, one 2 year old). I planned to do maybe two days Disney and the rest in Paris central. I don't want to do full Disney and want to see capital :)

Flights from Birmingham Intl. to Charles de Gaulle airport is coming up around £200 return (thats for both of us). Is this about right, or can it be cheaper?

Then- hotels. Please PLEASE help with this! Not very good with Paris layout but vaguely want a hotel cheap and cheerful, can get to Paris & central attractions easy, and also to main Disney? Is this possible? I don't know the layout!

I'm not sure about getting from airport to hotel then to Paris or Disney? But I can't break the bank- cheapest possible please!!

I'll sort out everything else later but PLEASE help with this bit! I don't want to book a good deal then discover there's no links to anything?

Thank you!!
Up and onwards to the future!

I can't help at all with Paris central - but if you can fly from Birmingham to CDG, can you get to either East Midlands or Luton to fly from there? Flybe fly out of East Midlands to CDG, and Easyjet fly out of Luton to CDG. Those options might be cheaper, depending on how easy they are to get to for you.

There are local trains (RER) that go from the train station inside CDG airport into central Paris. And then from Paris you can easily get to Disneyland by local transport (metro and local train).

We've done Paris and Disney lots of times both by air and car. I would suggest you find a hotel in central Paris and go to Disney by train for the 2 days you need (very easy). For hotels look at thr Accor http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/home/index.shtml and Louvre hotel groups
http://www.louvrehotels.com/en/hotel-group.html . We have stayed many times in Kyriad and Campanile hotels - Premier Class also very good but more basic. They have these hotels all over Paris - choose one near to a Metro.
We have always caught the train from CDG - it's not that cheap but efficient. There are probably buses from the airport too.
Disney is great - it brings out the child in all of us.
Whilst you're there it's best to buy a Paris visite bus/train card which saves a lot of money. http://www.pariswelcome.net/metro/paris_visite.htm

Paris is fabulous and best seen walking - some of the streets are cobbled and not very buggy-friendly. Museums are free on Sundays I think and you won't have to pay for the little one anyway. Enjoy.

we've just come back from paris, we went down with friends on a coach, on the friday, as we was staying outside of paris, because we was going to the arc on the sunday, when the others came home on the monday, we got the train into paris, stayed there till wed, then flew to madrid till sat and back home.

I loved paris, and we spent all the time we was there walking, we like this better than keep getting on and off the underground, and you get to see more.

I to was stuck as to where to stay, read so much on tripadvisor, (it's a fantastic site for information), i ended up booking the hotel 7 eifel, we paid £140 a night, not cheap, but i do have to say, it was fantastic, and as it was a speical birthday i was glad we did this. If you could get this hotel for a cheaper price i'd go for it, again see tripadvisor as there is photos and reviews, can't remember who i booked with, but we only paid on departure of the hotel, so gave us time to save up.

If i was going again, i would probably stay in a different area, and i would try the st germain area, only because, i wouldn't stay in the same area twice.

i loved paris, but i thought that it was very expensive, we found a bar one night called in for a pint of guiness and a vodka tonic it was 17 euros, so we spent most of our time walking and seeing the sites.

It was 9 euros one way on the train to the airport, but it was real easy.

Madrid was lovely and much cheaper.

    enjoy.
