Monnagran - try microfibre, as it doesn't need elastic.
Mrs LW - I'm currently looking for houses down in your direction, so let me know if you hear of anything interesting :-)0 -
HI greenbee if you pm me the areas you are interested in I'll happily keep an eye open for anything nice housewise. I know there is a nice 3 bed flint built semi coming onto the market soon here in the village but I think it might be £350,000ish, that's what it sold for a couple of years ago and I know there have been improvements made to it. It's in a nice position and has a nice garden and will be vacant posession as the seller has another home and only came here to look after aging parents who have now passed away. Let me know what you are looking for and I'll pm you if anything comes on locally, Cheers Lyn xxx.0

Funny you should say that Monnagran, I've had some excema round the waistband as well but didn't think it could be allergy because it's only on my tum not my back.
Mind you, by this stage of the winter I'm itchy all over. The skin on my shins dries out so much it can crack open. I think it might be lack of Vit D as it always heals up in summerIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -
evening all, Monnagran, try T3sc0 ladies shorts 2 for £5 lovely comfy microfibre seamfree so no lines (cept when they wrinkle) and I use camisole tops instead of vests, similar effect but less around the neck area so I can use v neck jumpers.
Had similar issue and it was the thread used in the stitching for me! So no more stitching means no more issuesStart info Dec11

Monnogran can you turn over the tops so the elastic is covered or take it out and replace with some threaded through a hand-turned slot?0

Going to have a go at making faggots, they sound lovely...would have to use minimal amount of liver as OH not supposed to eat it on his rat poison (Warfarin) but we both like it so might be a way of getting some in.
We are €172 short per month in our budget...less coming in than going out.I have allowed for all eventualities I think, can only stretch things like haircuts and new glasses....prescription costs have gone up this year to €144 per month, all needed so can't alter that...hopefully the house and car maintenance will be less than I have allowed for.Finding it very hard to think about as last time we were so broke it was due to overspending and a few months reining in spends would sort us out.
Lost a whole pound weight in February....would have liked more but at least it went in right direction.
Still very cold here, but dry so maybe we can get some seeds sown indoors for transfer to greenhouse next month.
Monnagran...can't offer any help as buy my unmentionables in Dunnes Stores which I don't think you have.
Hugs to all in need or want, have a good weekend and stay safe and warm

I still have to eat them but bought my first faggots some months ago(but may have to have a go at making my own sometime)I can see why they are compared to haggis as when I saw them made on TV late last year they contained mainly offal but the one's in the SM by the well known company, they do not officially have any in the recipe."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy.
