in Credit cards
Hello,
I am unsure if this is in the correct section so i apologise if its not.
I am having some difficulty at the moment (as partner has lost her job and the rent council tax etc has fallen on me). I made a repayment plan last month and i made a payment there and then. i agreed to a fee which in hindesight was too high and i could not afford.
so this month round i could not afford the repayment and called to see if i could have it lower. i offered half of previously and although the person was helpfull they gave me two options:
1) speak to a debt management company, he would give me the number.
2) do it myself. they are sending out a income expenditure form and go from there.
now i believe this is going to be a short term thing maybe 2-3 month max while the other half fiends new work.
They said this may go on my credit history as a default on credit if i proceed with second option.
has anyone got and past experience or suggestions?
Many Thanks

It is difficult to say what is impossible, as the dreams of yesterday are the hopes of today, and the reality of tomorrow!
