well its not
its the same picture without being stretched over 40"
In that case, is there anything I can put betwen laptop and tv, that will keep the quality.....
but then again, iPlayer streams dont deteriorate as much............ which I suppose goes back to the quality of the original stream....the weaker the signal, the more the quality suffers "on stretching" ....maybeCouponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

you are really looking for something you cant get
you are streaming content that simply doesn't have the quality you need/want
when I want to view sports like you
I wait till after the event and grab and HD version.
means avoiding anything that would tell me the result, not ideal but I CBA with poor quality video, and we are on a 50" or 24" PC monitor0 -
can you remember what site you streamed from. As said above most free streams are average quality at best. You occasionally get some good ones but most do not stream at a high enough quality for you to get an excellent quality picture0

Cheers...I will leave this thread at that, and be happy with the picture and thankfull that it doesnt need to stop and buffer every 10 minutes like it did before I got the Fibre, and most times runs the whole time without a delay.Couponing....."every little hurts"

It was some foreign chanel, which according to earlier comments, and as you say, was possibly only average quality at best....I remember some time ago, on another provider(can't remember who), it told you the quality of the link in its list of links....but that was a while ago and before I had fibre.(fttc)Couponing....."every little hurts"
