British Gas quote
Briefly this happened
rang to arrange visit to quote for overhaul of heating system, boiler, pipework possibly radiators etc. arranged for between 11 -1 pm
morning of appt engineer rang, only coming to quote for boiler, wont be 11 nearer 1 pm.
after 2 pm no sign ,no phone call, already cancelled 1 appt I had to stay in, rang BG and cancelled, could not offer me another time there and then, would get engineer to ring, I explained clearly please dont so that Ds who is severly disbled has specialist therapy and the phone ringing can disrupt his focus and concentration for 30 mins or more.
2:50 engineer rang and left message on phone, clearly a bit upset , wonder if BG had had a go about lost sales opp? " I could have come now"
rang BG today
No appt until 17th
what is more upsetting call handler couldnt care less and never give a straight answer
dont know whether to laugh or cry
how do they make money?
