I do get so cross when people enter competitions on here, win lovely prizes and then say thanks "someone", I know the search doesn't always work but

I am guilty -I just thanked for my win - on reflection I should have searched harder to find who posted the competition,
Please believe me I was not being ungrateful I just was so excited to win (and having my wee grandson with me today I didn't take as much time as I should to find the name of the kind person who posted.
BUT I AM THANKING EVERYONE WHO POSTS COMPETITIONS.
THANK-YOU:T0 -

ive done it
if ive won something and searched and not found it or if ive won something and theres no slip so i have no idea where it came from i do a general thanks where i will say 'thanks to whoever posted and thanks to everyone who posts comps'
i really dont see the problem, its better than not thanking at all!0 -

That's very true
it's just that sometimes it is so obvious that people don't bother

Hardly......I am retired
It's just that so many good people take a lot of trouble to post the comps (I used to before I was so poorly)
I'm sorry if I have offended anyone, just ignore my post

I've done it too, usually when short of time and a few to post at once. I always thank the competition post when entering though. In hindsight everyone does work hard to post all the comps, so thankyou all x0

I agree with tttJay although it is hard to track down some posts, some people obviously make no effort at all.0

I must admit there are SO many posts/comps. on here that I think it is difficult to keep track of everybody who posts etc. but I must admit if I won one of the huge prizes, as opposed to a dvd etc. I would make the effort.
I'm still trying to get to grips with this whole site, to me it is huge and a bit confusing.
Very friendly though!:)0
