I have several family photos taken this weekend at a family celebration. On each one, one person has their eyes closed! I have tried correcting using Photoshop with no success. Any other suggestions?

It's probably too late to say this now - but always take several photographs of each group. Pros do !
It is odds on that someone will have their eyes shut/yawning/finger up nose/light reflecting off their specs.
If you have two photos or more it is very unlikely that the same person will be offending in both photos, you then do a bit of head/eyes transposing in Photoshop - easy !0 -

Someone else was taking them using our camera and said they were OK - they weren't! I have tried using Photoshop and I don't find it easy!0 -

Photoshop is very powerful but not the easiest software to use. Try typing 'open eyes in photoshop' into Google, there are some video tutorials there that may be of help.0 -

Tried that using one showing the lasso tool but didn't have much success. I am not really proficient with Photoshop and certainly not using the layers. Will just have to keep looking and practising. Have taken a copy from the originals so I can play with them. Thanks anyway.0 -

I once took pictures at a friends wedding (just for me, not as a job)
The photo I got as the bride entered the Rolls Royce was 1000% better than any other one, mainly because I had the best spot.
The only snag, the bride must have blinked, with he result that her eyes are shut. You would think you wouldn't see it, but of course you always look into peoples eyes, so it is very obvious.
I don't really think there is much you can do, as you have already tried Photoshop. Maybe try again, with the image enlarged greatly, this might make it a little easier ... easy, not, just a little easier.0 -
I can give you a tip for future - If you are taking a photo which you have the full attention of everyone that you are taking a picture of (Group Pic) ask them all to close their eyes just before you take the photo and on the count of three they must open them - Then you take the photo.
This works for me 100% - It can also be a bit of fun!0
