    Day 33........... still not resolved!
    bath turned up on day 23 ........no bath panel
    rang & was promised faithfully it would be there next day............nothing!
    rang again spoke to Jonathan who thought it was funny, promised faithfully again for next day, quoting that he was not in the habbit of lying to customers......still nothing turned up!
    rang again told it had gone to wrong distribution center & wud be here again next working day after the bank hols .................nothing!
    rang again, promised faithfully yet again it would be here today so I waited till lunch heard nothing so rang to speak to Jonathan who told me it had gone out on their delivery service "Pallet wotever" & I wud be getting a call to take delivery,.............heard nothing so rang again 15 mins b4 they closed they hung up on me when I told them who I was, but actually rang me back to say it had been attempted delivery today at lunch time by parcelforce.
    So I was sat at work all day waiting for this call to take delivery of my bathside & parcelforce do not call you so they took it away again to attempt delivery tomorrow while I will be at work again.

    What a joke this firm is ... dont be tempted by their letters on site claiming fast delivery you will be lucky to take delivery at all.

    This is the worst online site I have ever been unlucky to buy from & will never ever buy from them again even if they were selling every thing at 1p
  • Don't buy anything from these people, they do not even follow correct legal practice.

    Purchased a toilet that arrived with a big chip out of the side. Called them and they said they would refuse to replace it or to refund the money as we shouldn't have accepted the delivery if the item was damaged.

    Rediculous! I'll contact my credit card company if I can't get it resolved
  • :mad: :mad: :mad: Very rude and argumentative sales staff when I rang with a problem. Continually put off with promises someone would call me back. Scratched bath that they refused to replace. If you are stupid enough to use them, don't let the delivery guy leave without removing every shred of packaging to check it's not damaged. See the consumer rights website for advice if your willing to wait for the probelm to be solved. ******** IF YOU FIND SOMETHING YOU FANCY ON THEIR WEBSITE, LOOK ELSEWHERE, YOU MIGHT PAY MORE BUT THE PRODUCT WILL PROBABLY BE OK AND THE SERVICE WILL

    UPDATE -- Was GUARANTEED yesterday on the phone by a manager that if I sent it back, (at my own expense £75), that they would refund the cost of the bath. I asked for confirmation by e-mail and the e-mail he sent told me they wouldn't take it back and that I was stuck with it. Don't believe a word you're told.
  • Wish I'd read this before buying from the site. Agree with everything said about the company.
    They sent the wrong basin then promised to replace it - many weeks and even more phone calls later it still hasn't turned up but they still have our money. They finally collected the basin we didn't want but even then said they could only take one parcel - ie would take the basin or the pedestal but not both. We taped them together.

    The staff are unhelpful to the point of rudeness and will say anything to get you off the phone - if you can get through in the first place.

    I would not use them again in any circumstances.

  • Here what happended to me, ordered a armitage sandringham suite (don't but this it's crap - nothing seals properly) on a sunday, heard nothing for weeks - when I phoned the call normally wasn't answered - when I did get through the staff weren't actually too bad but couldn't give me a delivery date. After 4 weeks I approached HSBC to invoke a credit card charge back, they said give them a further two weeks before progressing. After 5 weeks it arrived and checking it over I see that the bath panel is missing and so was the aqua blade I also ordered. I call the shop and was hung up on immediately. Enough I thought, I got some tools and got in the car - I was proper !!!!ed off. I then drove to their warehouse - what a sh*t hole. Told the guy in the shop that somethings were missing and he said just go down to the warehouse and get it. I waited there for a bit - guy turned up - told him what was missing and he went a got it without saying anything. I don't care I felt better for getting what was mine. So the moral of the story is:
    A. Don't buy from here.
    B. Seriously don't do it.
    C. If it doesn't arrive etc then get in your car - it's the only way you're going to get it sorted - I wasn't aggressive (though I was ready for a argument) when I turned up and I got what I needed.

    I would do that straight away if I was you. Pop in to Trading Standards and mention this. Let them explain to TS what they deem is legal. They wont and DONT have a pot to !!!! in on this, what they are trying to say isstill wedged half way down the OLD U-bend ;)

  • hi i am having trouble with 4bathrooms. we ordered a shower cubicle and tray, but the box was damp and had bugs in it. and the tray was not stone resin, so we had to take it back our selves. we took it back 2nd feb2009. but we are still waiting for our refund. we get told different things each time we ring up. i have spoke to a steve and a sam, and neither of them have sorted it out yet. they keep saying 3 to 5 working days. well its been about 10 working days now. if you look on there website, they only have good comments about them. don't buy from them, they rip you off and the products are not like they should be.:mad:
