British Gas ignoring me.

Hi

on 13/10 i emailed BG about having my prepayment meters removed (gas and Electric). I have never been in debt to them, they were in this house when i bought it.

A week later i called them they told me i'd be called back. Then the 24th another email sent, and 4 days later another call.


Being completely ignored.....any advice?

The problem is once they've got them in, there's incentive whatsoever for them to remove them. You are paying the most expensive way and they have no risk and get all the money up front.

Maybe if you switch supplier you can get a new meter fitted as part of the deal as they are usually quite accomodating then.

Might be easier than getting BG to do something.

Decided to call BG again and give them some grief.

Very nice chap on the phone, did credit check and all booked for 30th nov for both meters.....

Why didn't i get him first time around?

Is it still worth processing the fix and fall as the guy said it was fine to process it before the meters went in.

Is it worth while or should i wait.....
