Hi there, i am waiting for my F&F cert before i claim back any PPI from LloydsTSB going back yrs. I have found out that if the Company/Bank try to say the PPI should be sent to your IP you should say that your F&F means that you and the Company/Bank have settled and and you want the historic PPI monies owed to you.
Worth a try, i am also waiting to update the credit reference agencies with my F&F before persuing this so i can reference all this in a nice long letter to my old bank.
Dont forget to note that you are prepared to follow on with your claim to the Banking Obudsman, might help!

You can say that but if the bank digs in, then you are stuffed. There is nothing to say that either stance is correct.

Another thing that can happen is if the bank wrote off some debt as part of the settlement they are allowed to use the redress against that amount written off. Some do this, some do not.

I paid F&F payment to complete my IVA in June. Still waiting for cert. but this would not be sent until I had all my PPI searched and checked by my IPs preferred company. I must have signed about 30 documents over the last three months basically saying give everything to the IP. I did not even consider I could have anything to come back but apparently they are going back as far as 2003? I just want my cert. so I can start the rebuilding progress.
