I'm a merchandiser, and visited numerous supermarkets in the run up to Easter. All had some sort of material displayed showing their Easter opening hours.

Some had posters in the windows and foyer. Some had leaflets on the tills and customer service desks. Some had A-boards in the store entrance and car park. Some had banners round the edge of the car park.

I remember my local Tesco had the A-boards and car park banners, as I checked the times in case I needed to pop out for any shopping.
Here I go again on my own....

Did the voucher actually say 'Open on 8th April'?

If a voucher was 'Valid until December 25th', would you take three cars of people to the store on Christmas Day?

Is there any reason why you could not have used them before 8th April?!!!
    Gone ... or have I?

Its common sense that large stores do not open on Easter Sunday!! I wouldn't call it misleading.

maybe thyey could knock on everyones door in the town next year in case anyone is planning a big day trip to Tesco again.

PS they'll most likely be closed on Christmas Day but they'll just hide it on signs around the car park and near the door

caught me out every year since 1964...swines
