problem is the letting agency only found us as a let only so i was wondering when we hand our notice in, does it need to go to the Letting Agency or the Landlord or both???!!
would the letting angecy be able to give us the landlords address if we asked as i cant find it!!
thanks in advance!!

You should serve your notice to the address given to you on your tenancy agreement.0

It's worth running an advanced search before posting. Write to the letting agency they are legally obliged to give you the landlord's address.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

As post 2 - there should be an address given in the tenancy agreement specifically for service of Notices relating to the tenancy.
If your tenancy is currently running on month to month after expiry of a Fixed Term, note that you will need to time the notice to run with the tenancy periods, unless you and the LL can jointly agree otherwise.0 -
As FireFox suggests the LA has to provide the LL's name and address if you ask for it in writing. However, {edit:they} have 21 days from receipt of that request in which to reply which may throw your plans out of kilter.
The other way is to check online at the Land Registry ( small fee to pay) but If LL has not kept HMLR updated, the address given may not necessarily be the current one.0 -
