Best PAYG sim for Mexico?

I'm going to Mexico in less than 3 weeks :-) I don't dare take my iPhone with its contract sim, I will buy a PAYG sim & put it in an old phone (I guess I could even put it in my iPhone) anyway any advice on the best PAYG sim for Mexico?

Don't know if this is up to date, but this looks like the best offer for data (assuming that data is your priority):

Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

If you take a UK SIM it's going to be pretty expensive whichever you use, so I don't think it matters much. What's wrong with getting a Mexican SIM?
