Enjoy!!!!! Us wine lovers in Scotland are not allowed to get the 25% off due to our licensing laws - we're the only alcoholics in in the uk apparently!!!:mad::mad:0 -
Still working this morning. Also works on port & sherry!0

Its a shame since we are all grown ups and should be able to decide what and how much we buy!
Hope Scotland decide not to leave the UK. If you do then no doubt will be more and more different on lots of things in time (some good some not so good)0 -
I need a bit of help from you Tesco T&C experts.
I ordered 18 bottles of Hardy's and Albini for delivery today.
My husband took a call this morning from the store saying that the were all out of stock and that they could only sub with 5 bottles of each for the same price (so no 25% I would guess on one set of wine) He told them not to bother.
I am not an expert on these deals but it seems others have had subs and the discount. Are they allowed by their terms to do this or is there a term or condition being broken here?
They don't have to be 6 of the same for the discount ...any 6 (or more than 6) in totalBit of a Florida Fan :j

Thanks, do you know if they are allowed to say we can only sub 5 not 6 for the price quoted as they are dearer wines?
I was thinking that they had to be in batches of 6 so 15 would only get the discount on 12 (if that makes sense?)0 -
Don't know about the subbing but certainly any number over 6 will trigger the discountBit of a Florida Fan :j

Obviously if you were taking advantage of the 3 for £12 as well as the 25% then they would need to be in batches of 3 to trigger bothBit of a Florida Fan :j

Yes that was it.
I suspect they are wriggling to try and get out of applying the dual discount by saying they can only send 5 not 6.
I wouldn't normally bother but it does seem others have had subs and the 25% discount. I was going to phone back but I wanted to be sure if they were obliged to do it in their t's&c's before I did so.0 -

As far as I am aware until they have dispatched your order they do not have to supply you with anything if they do not want to.
It is up to you to agree terms.
That being said, you could always argue the point and they may give in for the sake of customer relations.0
