Free delivery for orders over £30 (under that 'at cost', which isn't very enlightening!)
Seem to have a good range , and in different sizes -- plus they sell nuts and seeds...

No Asian food shops in Guildford (that could be found via Google!).
Not really the same demand as, say, Slough, or Woking.
There is a place specialising in Polish and Chinese food, so I guess that's worth a look.

Better bet found in central Bracknell (where I work) - A&I Oriental Foods who specialise in Filipino, Thai and Sri Lankan. So I'll look them up next time I'm in town...might lead to a whole new diet ;))

I haven't lived in Guildford for a few years now, but these certainly used to be there...

Thai supermarket on London Road at the top end of town, attached to Rumwong's restaurant near Richer Sounds.
Chinese supermarket on Woodbridge Road, between the church and the back of the bus station. I'd say this is the one you mentioned above.

Agreed though, Guildford was never that great for food shopping. Julian Graves was probably the best place to go, and it was gone long before they went bust.

I use eBay for ones I can't get locally but also can't be bothered making a trek to a spice store for. :D

It's probably a bit of a trek for you but if you head up to New Malden there's a big Korean supermarket just off the A3, and some great oriental supermarkets in the town. Well worth a look if you like cooking Korean/Chinese/Japanese food.

    ...and free postage!

Have never thought of buying food through ebay -- everything else, but not food. Will remember that next time I'm running out of some herb or other.
