Gas usage / cost - 3 storey 5 bed

The boiler is an ideal classic fan operated ff380
I thought it was the pump / circulation problem too so I bled the pump as I checked the spindle which was ok.
I went and checked the last radiator and it was full of air, getting rid of this I added some more pressure into the system to restore 1.5 bar.
The boiler does have a bit of air in it i think because I can hear trickling water inside, think that's air.
Wonder if this behaviour is normal for the boiler0 -
I live in an 8 year old 3 story 4/5 bed.
My gas is £123/month and electric is £143/month. Until recent price rises these payments have just about kept me in credit annually.0
