tokkiandoliver that is fantastic - can't wait to see your IN list! :D

Had a couple of near purchase incidents this week - once in Space NK and another time in Boots! Just walked away...

However, I did end up buying some stuff online in the Body Shop offer - the Cocoa Butter Body Butter is HG for me and I picked up this and some other notreallyneeded stuff (will post INs when received). The £25 of £50 voucher was a good deal, with free delivery and a free handcream and 18% cash back from Quidco, but I've just added to my stash! Gaahhhh!
  • Finally finished the 50ml Clinique Even Better Moisturizer! Those last dregs on the side of the jar seemed to go on forever. I would buy it again but right now I've got a surplus of GWP size moisturizers.

The plan is to use up the skin tone corrector serums with the moisturizers that are all GWP sized.

Cookie Monsta: I know what you mean about that Neutrogena shower gel. I bought two off the clearance rack, tried one in the shower and wasn't keen on the smell. So, it's in the handsoap dispenser in the kitchen and there's another bottle in stash! I've learnt my lesson. Even my oldest commented on the scent of this.

Got a few uptruned bottles in the shower and nearly empty bottles in the cupboard.

so I have been using the BB stuff on one side of my face for a while ........no one has noticed any difference:(sometimes think axel grease might work just as well as some expensive stuff:rotfl:

rosemary I've just bought the Maybelline one and used it at weekend. It feels lovely though I didn't think the coverage was so great and did use Laura Geller Balance n Brighten on top however it still feels better than the LE Sheer Skin tint that I'm using for work at the mo. Once that's gone though I won't repurchase.

Thanks so much guys for the warm welcome, I'm loving this thread :)

I've now got my stash all inventoried in a spreadsheet, 152 items altogether - not as bad as I was expecting but a lot of clutter in our little house. I've realised I don't need to buy anything for a looong time.

Do people include dental items and suncreams in their stash? I have a couple of each but since me and DH share them, I thought not.

Had my first UU! Grace Cole Lavender Polishing Foot Scrub 238ml.
WNBA - while I like the smell of lavender this wasn't very pleasant and not very effective at exfoliating either...

I'd say it depends on whether you have a huge stash of something as to whether you count it or not. I must admit though that I am a sucker for buying more sun cream every year even though we have unfinished ones in. I do then tend to pack the lot just in case. Remember getting ripped off at the price of suncream abroad years ago. Don't think it's the same anymore but old habits die hard sometimes.

Well done on your first UU. x
well....it looks like my chance of graduating has just been blown out of the waters. I have switched jobs to a cosmetic company and they literally gave me about 50 products to take home, so yeah, not graduating anytime soon LOL

Well done on finding a new job even though it's going to turn into an enabler! x

    evening all

    welcome newbies

Have uu Umberto giannini volumising mousse, can't remember the exact name but it comes in a black tin - wba, gives good volume and doesn't leave hair feeling sticky

    happy pampering, xo

I bought Emma an UG kit for Christmas and she raved about them all. Will get some more as Stocking Fillers. Something I noticed last year though was that the individual items were better value than the kits.

    IN:
V05 Gloss Me Smoothly Shampoo 250ml - I only bought shampoo yesterday but one use was enough, it was L'Oreal Elvive, the pink sparkly one, left my hair feeling awful all day, really rough and unmanageable, won't even chance it again, even tried straightening my hair again when I got home and its still unruly! - luckily it'll make really pretty handwash! :D Thought I'd try the V05 as heard good things about it, I know VALM is a fan and it was a third off in Boots so only £1.39. Looking for something cheap to alternate with L'Oreal Everpure, fingers crossed I like this one! :o

Thanks for this post. The V05 is on offer in Superdrug as well at the moment but it's £1.79. Will bob in Boots later as our conditioner is getting light.

My friend used to work for L'Occitane. They used to give her tons of products.

Sadly our family member did not get the job with Benefit. Maybe I should give her a list of my favourite brands so she can apply to them all? x

Now I've caught up will report latest UU and then go wash off my face mask and face the day (work very busy - I even stayed later last night - but am loving it).

    UU:-

Elemis Balancing Lime Blossom Cleanser. HG product. Have another ready to open although it's part of my Christmas present apparently so will start a small tube of Elemis Pro Radiance Cleanser instead.

Have a good day everyone. x

The Superdrug offer is the better one if there's one convenient for you, mine is a drive away whereas there's a Boots just down the road - Boots is a third off both sizes whereas Superdrug is better than half price on the bigger bottles I think - hth!

My Mum has just been made redundant and I've already been suggesting she goes to work in Boots as I think it would suit her and hopefully be relatively low stress, I didn't realise until now maybe there was an ulterior motive on my part!! :rotfl:

tbs cranberry hand lotion- would not buy again.i think it smells like alcohol/fruity acetone and since im diabetic its prob not the best thing that people think im about to have a hypo...
    :P

Don't you get that smell when you're high, rather than low? My son is 24 and was diagnosed with type one diabetes when he was 15. Before the diagnosis I used to go in his room and there was an overpowering smell of acetone, which must have been down to ketones.
