Dual fuel credit of £228 - at end of 3rd quarter

Dear All,
Co-op Energy is my dual fuel provider. Just paid the third quarter bill and my current standing is now £225 in credit. I live alone and will be away from home a lot so my usage will be low even in the coming winter months.
I'd rather the money was in my bank account so would it be a simple case of emailing them and asking for that amount to be credited to my actual bank account?
Thanks.

Yes it is possible to do a refund. No i would not reccomend it at this time of year.
They would probably do some simple checks like making sure the bill isnt estimated.
Personally i would wait until the next bill before getting a refund. Afterall how much interest do you imagine you would get from having that money in the bank?
Usage is normally at its highest over the next few months.Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.0 -
the OP said they will be away alot in the coming months,i`d check that the bill wasnt estimated and then if it wasnt ask for a refund, maybe say £150 leaving £75 as a buffer0
