Am I wrong not to switch Tariff now?

Hi,

I'm on the EDF standard variable tariff and today I switched to the EDF blue tarif but then switched back again because I would be paying more in Kwph unit charges before the prices go up on December 7th.
I don't think it's fair that EDF should charge you more before the prices are due to go up, especially as that's what is stated in the pdf file I saw from their website.

Was I wrong not too switch? I really am penny pinching because I have to as my partner and me both work part time. EDF said that the Blue tariff may not be available by December 7th, but surely somebody would be cheaper?

I don't know what to do as there is a lot of info on the news that will affect pricing. Should I switch now or what until as close to the 7th December as possible?

Many Thanks,
nictu
