Car insurance: list of cancellation fees?

My car insurance is due later in November and I've done all the usual research. However, change of circumstances means I'll be selling the car (and not replacing it) some time early next year, and then cancelling the insurance. Therefore I'd like to factor cancellation fees into what I'm paying now.

I dimly recall seeing a big list of policy providers cancellation/admin fees on here once upon a time. Does anyone have a link to this or a similar resource - much obliged as it will save me trawling through the fine print of half a dozen different (all comparable in price) policies!

The problem you have is that any old list will not be accurate.

If you just want the cheapest deal then do the usual shopping round then ring the cheapest 3 or 4 and ask them their costs to cancel mid term.

But bear mind cancellation costs involve more than just an admin fee, and different companies have different ways of piling on the cancellation fees.
