Overs In The Region Of (O.I.T.R.O)?

What are your thoughts on the title statement in the current climate.

Obviously circumstances will dictate how much lower than the asking price an individual may accept.

However, I'm looking at properties and a couple have O.I.T.R.O as part of their sales pitch. In the current climate, what would be an acceptable percentage offer below the vendor's O.I.T.R.O valuation?

Many thanks in advance!

Depends on so many things. Often when I see OIRO the price matches the home report value so can't imagine unless really desperate to move that the seller would accept a wildly low offer. I would think maybe 3-5% under? We were up for OIRO 95k and were looking for 92k although as time goes in we would prob take 90k

That was my initial thoughts csh - around 5%ish. I guedd the rest depends on desperation to sell!

I might try around 10% and see what happens....

    :)

    EDIT: Spellcheck!

No different to any other species of asking price ... ignore it and make an offer based on what the property is worth based on similar sold prices, state of repair, etc, etc.
