My son and girlfriend are thinking of buying a company owned house. I know what it means but, is it safe the house is 10yrs old and the last occupants have caused a bit of damage, I don't think its too much, I haven't seen the house myself.
Anything he should know before putting in an offer. Any help much appreciate

Does the damage make the property unmortgageable? If you mean the company is selling the house for an employee who has been relocated, how long has the company owned it? If under six months again it may not be mortgageable

    What makes this purchase different?

How does a property being owned by a company alter the process?

    Genuine questions.

I can't see why you would behave any differently as a purchaser of a property because the vendor was a body corporate, rather than an individual.
