No video on windows 8 metro app screen.

Hi folks,

After upgrading to 8 from 7 I can't get video to play on windows 8 Metro app screen, things like sky news or youtube app, though plays find within the desktop. Other content on the Metro start screen is fine.

Have updated display driver but no different, any ideas welcome.

    I was not aware that there was a YouTube app for Windows 8. I have the Sky News app running from the metro screen without a problem. Never really use the metro screen as most stuff runs on the desktop. I assume metro is really for phones and serves no purpose being on a normal PC.

    Most android apps are viable on Win8, this prog does it but .. .. doesn't work because of the openGL native to windows, read this for a how~to.
