    But there's an excess, and a single item limit, and increased premiums if you have to claim.....

    If I was replacing my 'main' computer, I'd think about it :D
    But not for me, for travelling with :)

    Had a bit of a hunt today and can't find much else this small and light for 'in the region of' this price.

    I've just been looking at the spec of this asus

    Intel® Core™ i3-3217U processor (1.9GHz clock speed without TurboBoost, 3GHz lock speed with TurboBoost

    Out of interest could someone explain what turbo boost is please?

  • The turbo boost will be a built in overclocking facility on the main processor. Most intel chips are capabale of running faster that they are labelled. Samsung is probably picking the best of the bunch and with right cooling it would allow to boost the speed to higher level.

    Even on standard speed the laptop is more than capable of operating at well. Had a play with it in Comet but as was last on display unless it gets discounted heavily would buy it so now looking for stock somewhere as its a nice little laptop
