How to send money to Republic of Ireland

Options
I need to send 600 euros to a cousin in Ireland, in payment for her sorting out a memorial plaque for my late parents whose ashes have been interred in the family crypt over there. She has paid the sculptor's bill on my behalf and I now need to reimburse her.

As it's euros and my bank account is obviously sterling, can anyone advise a safe way of doing this please? Not worried about reasonable charges but want to avoid too many complications for either me or the recipient.
:D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

    Try transferwise.com or currencyfair.com
I have used the former to pay for a holiday rental. Low cost and straightforward.

If you both have PayPal accounts, this happens automatically and at a reasonable cost if you pay her to her € denominated account.

I'm afraid I don't, and I have no idea whether my cousin does. Good idea though, might help someone else with the same query.
