As a result of a bad experience with a dodgy screen protector I've now got smudges of adhesive on my smarthphone touchscreen which I can't get rid of with a soft dry cloth. Does anyone know of a safe cleaning agent for a smartphone screen?

isopropyl alcohol or water. (damp cloth approach, rather than spray on).Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

I have some denatured alcohol at home (used to clean my tape heads with it - haven't used it for more than 10 years!) - do you think that would be safe?0
