Lpg
We have lived in our rural location for 12 years and took over the fuel tank and supplier as left by the previous owners. We were naive enough to think that there was no competition for the supply of LPG ( never see any publicity in the media for this fuel) and have gone along with the price increases as inflicted upon us thinking we had no choice. Our supplier never offered to renew our contract after the first couple of years and the latest price increase rattled me to the point of searching on the net. What a shock I had. We had been paying 58.9p per litre plus VAT! I find that it can be supplied as low as about 42p per litre. On top of that our supplier delivered a full 950 litres just after my enquiry for a review of a contract with them. (very sneaky) You can imagine that having to pay a couple of hundred pounds more than I needed to for the full tank did not go down well. As such we have changed supplier and in future will be more vigilant. Lesson learned.
