Hi
Has anyone have the Enviro vent fitted in their house?
The following is a brief description.
Fans which draw filtered air from the roof space are available, this type of fan
creates a
slight positive
pressure throughout
the house which gently pushes the moisture laden air out through small gaps which are present in all properties.
I have been quoted for one and have heard good reviews on the Internet, but just wondered if anyone on here has one or knows of anyone that has one.

Envirovent make everything from simple fans to whole house Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery systems. What is actually proposed, what problem are you trying to fix?0

We have 2 of these type fitted in our property ,we find on the whole they work well, you must however keep the airflow moving, and you cannot regulate it.The window vents which is where the moisture is pushed out must be unobstructed, think curtains here.
The one in the kitchen is fine ,however when its cold you can feel the current of air flowing through, and as its sited over the cooker area you can feel cold whilst standing there , the vents are operated by moisture content in the air ,and will open wide if its raining outside.
The one in the wetroom is sited directly over the toilet area and the same cold feeling applies, if spending any length of time !,However we have no damp and the condensation does disappear quickly from the shower.Do I need it or just want it.0
