Can anyone recommend a freeware Pdf to jpeg image converter programme.

Open the pdf in Adobe Reader and use the snapshot tool to copy the required selection and paste into Irfanview.

Have a look on VersionTracker - http://www.versiontracker.com/

Do a search, then organise by licence and look through the freeware items.
