As an indoor dog kennel/house thing? I would like to get my dog one as it's getting really cold now & my house becomes a freezer during the night and quite drafty.
At the moment he has a large doughnut bed with one of those Ancol self heating pads.
I don't want a crate as I find them really heavy to move about, also not sure he would like one as I got him as a rescue dog.

I would have thought a crate would be lighter than a kennel. Why would you have to move it?
Our mutt has a crate that is covered with an old duvet over the top. It keeps the heat in and drafts out. It's like a dog cave and mutt loves it.Herman - MP for all!

I meant like a fabric kinda thing. I would move it when I clean up & need to get under it.
Will check out a crate, just not sure how to size one.0 -

Ah. I've seen cat sized things but not any big enough for dogs. Maybe someone else has though.
What kind of dog?Herman - MP for all!

He is a Bedlington/Whippet cross. However, he is quite tall and long.
Just had a look on ebay & I noticed there are portable crates made of steel & fabric. Just have to work out which size to get.0 -
You can get fabric crates
E.g. (though sure there's cheaper available) http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/dogs/dog_cages_carriers/folding_dog_kennels 0
