    1. Which cards do you have?
    2. Get you credit reports from both Experian and Equifax, £2 each and you can do the requests online, to check that you don't have a problem with your credit files.
    3. If neither of your cards is an Egg card then apply for the Green Egg card and request a BT of both the debts to it, assuming you obtain a high enough limit. This should get you 9 months @ 0%. Even if you can only transfer a part of your debt it should help you.

    All the best

Sadly, applications made this month run only until 1st October at 0%, which means the 0% period could be down to 5 months or so by the time the OP's application has gone through.

How about Capital One or Virgin - both 0% for 9 months (check Sunday papers for the Capital One form).

Alternatively, Barclaycard 0% 10 months - but the BT charges are high at 2.5% and their max BT is £5K
