    Which lender declined it?

Still possibilities. What is your earned income?

Sorry, did I read this correct - you want a buy to let or a consent to let?

When you say at the offer stage, mortgage offer or you have offered on the property?

Do you own another property, or is this your sole property you are trying to buy?

Sorry, just not sure what the specifics are..

A residential mortgage is hard with a recent CCJ, a buy to let mortgage will be incredibly tough.

As GMS rightly said, any answers will be in the detail on your Experian, Equifax and Call Credit reports.

Suggest you only get the £2 variety because as you have found, the scores are actually worthless

    Got it - thanks..

Definitely get your reports, there are likely to be options but dependent upon the data on these reports...

    All the best

You can challenge a CCJ if you didn't receive the paperwork and can prove this (eg you weren't at the address at the time). The court can help you arrange a set aside application. If successful, the judgment will be removed from your credit report.
