9 month BT card - not MBNA or HBOS

Hi,
Does anyone know of a current deal which offers more than 6 months 0% which isn't owned by MBNA or Halifax-Bank of Scotland. I need to transfer cash from two credit cards run by the aforementioned companies, but it will take 8-9 months to pay the debt off. I don't really want two credit searches to pay off the debt.
Thanks,
Bernie

Picked up a leaflet today from Barclays for their Barclaycard Platinum Visa at 10 months 0% on BT's.
Total BT is limited to £5K and comes with an initial BT fee of 2.5% (ouch!). Subsequent BT's (available throughout the 10 months) have a slightly lower fee of 2%.
Minimum repayment is 2%0 -
Hmm...recently had a Barclaycard (to try and take advantage of the 12 month 0% deal). They gave me a £1000 limit so I cancelled the moment I received the card.
I may try and ring HBOS and try and get an extension. Does anyone have any tips on talking them round?0 -
Sorry, forgot to add - a 9 month Capital One application form fell out of my Mail On Sunday last weekend.YorkshireBoy wrote:Picked up a leaflet today from Barclays for their Barclaycard Platinum Visa at 10 months 0% on BT's.

Citibank also have 9m at 0% here:
https://www.citicards.co.uk/exec/citiplatinumb/engine.exe?offer=PPB&merchant=citi
Until recently you could reach this from the credit card section on citibank.co.uk but they are now pushing their 1% cashback card instead. (Change the letter 'b' in 'citiplatinumb' to a, c or d to see their other offers).0 -
Thanks for that, given Citibank a try.
Been told that I will have a decision in 7 days - not too hopeful though. Anyone know how strict/lenient they are?0 -
Try Ulster Bank [part of NatWest/RBoS] -- they're doing 9 months. You can't apply on-line but if you log on to their website you can e-mail them to ask for a snail-mail application form. I'm waiting for one!Expect the worst & hope for the best...0

I have just emailed for that Ulster card. Looks like they have no fee for the BT. Citi Bank looks like they charge 2% for a BT.0
