Microsoft Paint Question

Options
This is the only picture/photo editing software I have!

Is there a way to sample some colour within a photo and use that as paint to edit other parts of the photo?

Or should I be using an alternative software system?

Thanks!

There's the colour picker / dropper tool, it has more or less the same icon in every image manipulation program.

In paint (win 7/8) its the middle bottom tool on the tools ribbon.

for heavens sake ditch paint as it is the worst and most dated package around. Does have great pointing arrows though.

Get this for free http://www.getpaint.net/ and it also is able to use many or most of the photoshop plugins. Also it is simple to use, unlike gimp.

    I agree 100%

Paint.net is a great program. I use it to crop my images for eBay.
