Devere are one of the few operators that take a few people to court from time to time

You didnt get the ticket at castle point did you?

Dont worry however as there are some experts over on pepipoo should they issue a claim against you

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=60

Its not a penalty its an invoice

Should you get genuine court papers then simply register on pepipoo and go from there:). btw which would be your local county court?
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
    For clampers there's Barclaycard.
  • yes castle point.

they do call it penalty process on website so are you sure it is invoice not penalty as dont want to get caught out.

A private company can't issue a penalty, you need to be the police or a council and issue it under traffic legislation.

That's how we know its an invoice.

The link you gave earlier http://devereparkingservices.co.uk/penaltyprocess.html refers to the penalty as a parking charge notice which is basically an invoice. It's not a penalty. They could take it to court but is quite rare. If they do issue court proceedings then follow the advice in the link and respond to the court admitting nothing and defend the claim.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
  • Also, following on from Manx, they're not allowed to call it a penalty as it is not legal for them to issue penalties.

Was it a disabled bay without a badge, or they claim there was no badge?
This seems to be Deveres forte!

A complaint to the dvla has already been submitted for their impersonation of authority on that
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
