its not something i have heard of
unless u got a special offer to stay with them for a certain period e.g. cashback/reduced rates?
or perhaps they carried out some work for you like a meter exchange? which they can then charge you for if u move supplier within a certain time
u need to find out exactly why they are charging you - doesnt seem fair to me0 -
Incidentally who did you go with? I am with Scottish power and there priecs are going up, not only that but I pay a lot more the last bill than what I expected and they consequently are putting up my DD.
