How do I / Can I watch Freeview TV on my laptop?

I have a SAMSUNG RV520 CORE i3 2.2GHz 4GB 500GB 15.6" Windows 7 HDMI WEBCAM RV520-A07 laptop and would love to be able to watch tv on it. Is it at all possible?

The above is good. This is streaming over your internet connection and will use plenty of data. Also of course, iPlayer etc. - goto bbc.co.uk/iplayer .
Or are you talking about receiving broadcast TV. Lookup USB Freeview tuners. USB stick plugs into computer, plug it into an aerial, and you've got Freeview on your computer. Your laptop is easily up to both of these tasks.0 -

I would agree with trying the USB tuner. Not that expensive. I did this myself and provided you can get a good signal you can get Freeview and you can also record the programmes if you want.0 -
