How do you get a private sale on Rightmove

Hi
I remember reading a few months ago some ones selling diary. I am sure they managed to get the private sale onto Rightmove.co.uk but I cannot find the thread now.
I had the estate agents round the other day. They were all wanting it on their books, they know it will be an easy sale I think. House looks right, and is immaculate. All the agents were willing to drop the fees down to 1% without me having to haggle much. But the thought of paying thousands still is not my idea of money saving!
I sold my last house privately, so I am not worried about the leg work involved, I actually enjoy the running around! But I did not need to advertise then as it was a friend of a friend.
Many thanks for any advice:beer:

I think you have to be an EA to get on Rightmove because it is owned by EA's. Housenetwork is an online only estate agency, you do the viewings, they put your pictures on rightmove as well as their own website. Check out the housenetwork thread.0

How much would it cost to set up a pretend estate agency with 1 property on the books, purely just to list on Rightmove, and then "close down" once sold?0

You can't - Rightmove require a minimum amount of entries to start you off. Some of the small startups etc can't get on RM straight away...0 -

Very cliquey. I wonder what advantages there are for Rightmove in stopping smaller estate agents from paying for listings? There has to be some good ones no doubt - it's a very successful website.0 -
https://www.squaremove.co.uk you can sell your home for sale by owner for £199 and that gets you a listing on various property web sites, its an excellent way of saving money. Have a read on the site plenty of info on their and i am sure if you speak to their live help they will help you. Thanks
